The history of the Medrano was formed by the Casartelli family in 1873. It started to conquer new countries; Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria and Israel. The year 1972 is the year of
development for the Casartelli family as they made a debut with the name of “Medrano Circus”, with a large zoo containing horses, elephants, zebras, giraffes, camels, and a
white rhino. Since then, the Medrano Circus has been renown for the large number of spectators and the prestigious prizes won due to animal training.

Isabelle Moretti

The first edition of International Istanbul Harp Encounter is coming to life in the frame work of  “In Tune with the Harp!” between December 1-7, 2010, bringing together  five world-renowned harpists representing  five harp traditions. Five harpists, five different harps and five  musical traditions come together in the largest harp event organized in Turkey so far. arpilehertelden.com

Isabelle Moretti is one of the most appealing figures both among harpists and in the musical world today. Bright, enthusiastic and with real temperament, she embues her instrument with inimitable style, generosity, sincerity and nobility. Crowned with prizes at international harp competitions in Geneva, Munich and Israel, Isabelle Moretti is invited to the greatest concert halls all over the world. She appears with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (most recently under the baton of Sir Neville Marriner), the National Orchestra of Lyon, the Paris Orchestral Ensemble, the German Chamber Orchestra Bremen, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Orquestra de Córdoba, the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Isabelle Moretti’s solo repertoire extends from the music of the eighteenth century and the first sonatas for pedal harp, to the most complex contemporary world premieres, which she frequently programmes in her recitals. She especially loves chamber music and performs it regularly with her friends Philippe Bernold, Henri Demarquette, Gérard Caussé, François Leleux, Magali Mosnier, and with the Parisii, Psophos and Ebène string quartets. Many works have been dedicated to Isabelle. In 2006 she gave the world premieres of Philippe Hersant’s Harp Concerto at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, as well as Michèle Reverdy’s Harp Concerto with the l’Orchestre National de Lille. Isabelle Moretti’s discography, as rich as it is varied, has enjoyed great media success: the Victoire de la Musique, Grand Prix de la Nouvelle Académie du Disque, Prix Charles Cros, Choc du Monde de la Musique, Dix de Répertoire, and ‘ffff’ from Télérama.

A renowned teacher, Isabelle Moretti gives masterclasses throughout the world and teaches at the National Superior Conservatory of Paris for Music and Dance (the CNSMD). Since 2008, she is also Visiting Professor at London’s Royal Academy of Music. Isabelle Moretti is a knight of the National Order of Merit.

Belinda Carlisle

Belinda Carlisle gained worldwide fame as the lead vocalist of The Go-Go's, who made history as the first all-female music group to write their own songs and play their own instruments to top the Billboard charts. The Go-Go's are considered by some to be the most successful all-female band of all time. Carlisle sold more than seven million
albums, and later went on to a successful solo career that spawned hits such as "Mad About You," "Summer Rain," "I Get Weak," "Leave a Light On" and "Heaven Is a Place on Earth", which topped the charts internationally.

Carlisle's first album, Belinda, was released in 1986. Her second album "Heaven on Earth" was nominated for a Grammy Award. The first release from Heaven on Earth was "Heaven Is a Place on Earth", which topped the single charts, not only in the U.S., but also in the UK and in several other countries. The hits "I Get Weak", "Circle In the Sand", "I Feel Free," also topped the music charts.

Carlisle's follow-up to the success of Heaven on Earth was Runaway Horses, released on October 23, 1989. The album hit the Top 5 in both Australia and the UK, certified double platinum in Australia and platinum in the UK and in Canada.
